October Snow

Well, Mother Nature seems to think we are ready for snow. It came a little sooner than expected this year. It was quite a storm. The town was covered with branches that had snapped from trees.  Some houses were out of power for a little while.  It was sad driving around and seeing all the old, pretty, tall trees that had been there for decades, stripped of their branches. October has had quite a few good storms this year and a large quantity of rain. It's been a pretty wet and cold one. *Sigh*...only 8 months until summer.
