This year, The Dance Academy, headed to Gillette, Wyoming to participate.
The dads and brothers were not invited on trip.
Jemma and I loaded up with Emily, Kelsey, and Laura. We stopped in Casper to eat lunch at the Olive Garden and then did a little shopping at Target where the girls talked Laura into buying them matching outfits.
After Casper, we made our way to Gillette and the much anticipated hotel, complete with water park. Jemma and Emily were beyond excited to be sharing a room and basically being joined at the hip for the entire weekend.
The girls did great in competition. They tapped to the music Stray Cat. When awards were handed out, Jemma and Emily's group received the Ruby award, which translates into the runner up position or a low first place.
What a great girls weekend!
