Sleepy Hollow, New York

One of Heather's "very must do's" was to visit Sleepy Hollow Cemetery. It just so happened that Sleepy Hollow is directly across the Hudson River from Oak Hill Cemetery, where we were earlier in the day. We got to the town to see that there was a gigantic statue of the Headless Horseman, so of course we had to stop for pictures. When we found the actual cemetery, it was closed, but we were able to drive around its vastness. It was actually pretty impressive in size. I had pictured something much smaller. Even though Heather didn't get to wander the cemetery, she was satisfied. Unfortunately,  this also opened her up for comments from us about her morbid curiosity about old cemeteries. Everyone we passed we asked if she wanted to go walk the graves. I think by the end she was a little exasperated with us. But sometimes you just have to get under someone's skin and annoy them from time to time. We all did a great job of that. Ask Heather!
