I Love Peanut Butter

Apparently peanut butter IS a mother's magic tool.
Bubble gum is now officially banned! Why he decided to rub it around in his eyeball is beyond me.

I included this picture of Jemma because 1. Michelle made such a cute bow and tutu for her (Thanks!) and 2. She's currently not on my bad list for mistreating gum.

Idaho Trip

We also did a little picnicing...(fast-food style)
A little playground playing...

(And when did Rigby Park take out all the fun, dangerous stuff like the witch hat ride and the merry-go-round. I use to have so much fun in elementary school defying death at every recess.)

A little pumpkin picking in grandpa's garden...

And a little apple picking from Great-Aunt Susan's neighbor's tree.
It was definetly worth the 15 hours it took us to drive home.

Ethan's B-Day

Also, while we were up in Idaho, we celebrated Ethan's Birthday (a week early)
He got a million Transformers' and a few Spidermans'
He was one happy boy!

Grandma Betty was able to come to the party also, I think she forgot what kind of noise 8 great-grand children can make!
Happy 4th Birthday Eth-man!

Annual '09 Yellowstone Trip

Every year since Matt and I have been married we take a trip up to Yellowstone Park. And every year it gets colder and colder. It was FREEZING up there! But the boys loved it and so did Jemma and I. And the sun ended up peeking out for 2 minutes during the 10 hours we were there.

Since it was cold and rainy we thought the animals would be in hiding, but we were lucky.

We got our buffalo picture, and our elk picture, and our hot pot picture. After we did those things Ethan declared it was time to find the bears. We weren't so lucky in that department, but the boys settled for a stuffed bear from the Old Faithful Gift Shop.

Next year I think I'm going to insist we go earlier in the season so we don't have to shiver through our pictures. Ethan looks a tad cold in this one.

It Made Me Laugh

2 Things this morning made me laugh:

Bennett came in asking, "Can you come cut the crap?"
"What"
"Come cut the crap!"
"I don't know what your talking about."
"Come, I'll show you!"
"Oh! You meant will I cut the crust."
"Yeah!"

Later on Bennett was asking me a million questions. I guess Jacks decided to save me from having to answer anymore because he walked over, put his little hand over Bennett's mouth, peered into his face with a big grin and said, "Shhhh. Quiet Bement"
(That's how he pronounces Bennett's name)
