My Hero

Tuesday night I headed to a Relief Society meeting and help teach other Sisters how to index. When I came home, I pulled into the garage and fiddled with my phone for a bit and then got out of the car. I made it up a few stair when I spotted a dirty little mouse sitting by the door. So I did what any rational person would do: I screamed, fell down the stairs, and scrambled to my car. As I shut the door the lights in the garage went out! I managed to roll the window down a crack and scream for Matt. He came to the door, saw the mouse and slammed and locked the door. I was petrified to be in the same dark garage as that tiny beast!
Matt returned however, to save me. He came through the large garage door carrying Bennett's BB gun. I backed the car out of the garage while Matt took his position.

My hero is a good shot and saved me from the mouse!

However, upon reflection we realized after all that had happened the mouse had barely moved. We think it must have been sick in the first place and came to our garage to find a nice, quiet, friendly place to die.  I'm glad we could help it along.
